Ooops: click here to read why COSMOPOLITAN Magazine in its July 1997 issue calls me a "real man"
:-)

Our new palm trees, Palmy and Balmy
(the branches are still tied up for now.).

This is I. Back in New York City where David & I lived on Bleecker Street for eight months in 1996. We both loved living in the Village and being near Washington Square Park.
click my nose to write me :-)

This is David and I, here in South Beach. Anybody who knows David will agree that he's one of the most remarkable persons on this planet. I am not exaggerating here.

And this is David again. I took the photo in Key West.

My wonderful parents, Marianne and Herbert. Only in their early fifties. They came down to Miami Beach and Key West in January 1996 to visit us, which was a great experience. We email, fax and talk on the phone all the time.

My sister Jutta. Two years younger than I. She's the vice president of the Handelshaus Fest now. She's such a smart and nice young woman. Was always the small sister. And now she's the big boss. I'm so happy for her. Just got married to Olaf who, I think, will be a great husband to her.

David and I moved from New York City to Miami Beach in January 1997. This is our house in South Beach. It's on Fourth Street and we got the only pine tree on the block.
These are Gene & Judy, my American host parents during my exchange student year in New Jersey, back in 1983. They accepted my like their son and went out of their way to help me even when I started causing them quite some trouble. They're great and we still keep in touch.
And this is our dog Looe, in front of our house. Looe's is a great mutt. Six years old but behaving like a two-year-old. Climbs fences. He makes real sure David and I are safe. Barks at all passers-by and sticks his nose underneath the gate all the time. Good boy. Goooood boy, Looe!

September 97: Please don't ask how I ended up on this German billboard advertisement. I've never smoked a cigarette all my life.
